A well worn brush with a fuzzy woolly texture. Though it has a lot of texture, when used with some pressure at a relatively small brush size it’s a worthy line sketching brush.
‘Vintners Quill’ Photoshop Ink Brush

That advice did the trick, thanks so much! And apologies I don’t seem to be able to edit my original review, but the brushes are great

I’ve just downloaded these brushes and dragged into Photoshop but get the pop up ‘Could not place “GrutBrush-I-Desk-Inspector.tpl” because no parser or file format can open the file.’ Any ideas on how I install these? I’ve tried using the Grut installer but that isn’t appearing under ‘extensions’ as the instructions say it should

Hi Jennifer, Sorry you had trouble installing them. If you drag it into the Tool Presets panel Photoshop should install it, but even better, install the ABR version instead. Its included in your downloads and it will install right into the Brushes Panel.
You can drag the ABR right into the brushes panel to install them. Hope that helps. If you still have trouble feel free to send me an email with the details at info@grutbrushes.com and I will make sure you get them installed. – Nicolai
